My Fair Lady
Tis wombman so filled with style and grace became the balanced one within me... HerStory...
Her Glory came like a meteorite...
passing through my earth...
my inner core bringing iron for strength and nickel for the four corners of the Universe. Essential.
Fire, air, water, and earth respectfully including the womb...
the fifth element of surprise,
Where the magnetic pull is natural and pure...
My Fair Lady, representing the wombman,
to which homage and discipline is noted and recorded for HER essence is divinely chosen to be in the mist of HER birthrite as a wombman...
highly respected and admired by those who have chosen...
My Fair Lady

Compass (A Message to the Black Man)
Heading me in a direction of Peace
Eye ask that positive energy resonate within we...
Take me on tour of my inner ambitions
Take me on a mission with a vision of great intentions
Take me soaring in the sky on ground, or in the water of sweet dreams
Wishing and Striving to be in direct line of these things
Traveling agent producing cause to receive an effect
Such a powerful Kemetical HE authorizes change in the bases of our means.
HE represents a force that shines GREAT in us two.
Be our guiding light and yet refrain from blocking our way, the Holy Trinity awaits for your hand to raise for the guard of your heart in a El position your Temple must stand erect and pure, sure and divine we need your strength we need your mind.
We are searching and seeking for the Divinity in our Trinity

The Warriors REminder
I am awake
My mind is free
I am Creative
I love myself
My willpower is strong
I am brave
I practice patience
I don't judge folks
I give, not receive
I don't expect
I accept
I listen more than I talk
I know I'll change
I know you'll change
I'll hold on one more day
I start over when necessary
I create my own situations
I am cosmic
I do not have the answers
I desire to learn
I am the plan
I am strong
I am weak
I want to grow
I know I will I take responsibility
I hide myself from no one
I am on a journey a path
Warriors wall alone until another brave soul minds their mind to join
I won't let my focus change
Taking out the demons in my range
Living in a world that's all so fast
You must to make your purpose last

Violin
High pitched, walnut brown
Piercing, Searching, Soothing
Like a woman during childbirth,
Like an instrumental lullaby
A mother's soft voice in your ear
SOOTHING
Her most precious possession
into peaceful
hours of slumber.

We Did It
They said that we couldn't
That we wouldn't
That we can't
But we did
So they lied
NO longer bound to pots and pans
NO longer soccer moms and maids to our men
They said that we couldn't but we did
We have overcome the circumstance
We are now the pilots of planes,
Soaring to our Destiny
Soldiers in combat, as mighty as military men
They said that we couldn't but we did
PRINCETON and HARVARD are now within our reach
Just like roots of the tree, we are the lifeline
We were born to do more than teach
Young ladies to be seen and heard
Average, that is so absurd
They said we couldn't, yet we did
For we should scream and shout and jump about
To exclaim from the mountain tops
That we did it
For the women that fought before us
I know that they expect more of us
SEE the job is yet to be done
There has yet to be a woman
as the Head of the State
To reign and rule over United States
A woman in charge, in the chain of events
It has a nice ring
A woman in charge
In control of everything
THEY said that we couldn't
That we wouldn't
That we can't
But we did
WE DID IT

Drowning
Submerged in a dripping, sipping
Hot Humid Heavy was the cape
Ripping Tearing Stripping to escape
Stifling Suffocating Steaming Reeling
Searching for Relief from this devastating feeling
Clean Clear Cool was the pool
Cold Crisp Clashing with the dream
My love, My dream, My life now silenced
Drowned, Diluting, Sunken pronounced
My heart burn ? a fire for change
My dream was to see my world rearranged
My love was given to those around
And my life was taken amid no sound
As I sink fully aware in the pool of my reality
As the breathe is taken with this finality
I see the surface that offers me hope
Yet I choose to sink in life not cape
***Inspired by a young woman who was shot in the head and survived and started teaching women how to read in Africa***

Teenage Struggles
How come were so caught up on drama?
Who likes us?
Who are our friends?
Why can't it just go away?
Everybody wants to fit in
With some crowd
Just be ourselves
Why can't we
Focus on our grades
And what we want to do with our lives?
Drugs are in schools?
Because we're pressured to have A's and B's
Which is very stressful
And when you tell your parents it's hard
They tell you
"We been through worse"
What they don't get to realize is the bullying is worse now
If you don't have the newest shoes
You're poor and you get roasted on
The saying 'stick and stones may break my bones and words will never hurt me'
That's a lie how come there more suicides in high school
Can it all Stop?

For Word
Thank you for the words I read
Thank you for the words I need
Thank you for the words so great
Thanks for words that raise debate,
Thanks for the words on my bookshelf
Thanx for the words I make myself
Thank you for words that make me cry
And words that leave me feeling dry.
Thanks for words that do inspire
And those words that burn like fire
Thanks for all the words I note
Thank you for all the words I quote,
I thank you for the words like me
Thanks for words that set me free
And I thank you for words like you
I always need a word or two.
Thanks for words that make things plain
And words that help me to explain
Thanks for words that make life fun
And words that help me overcome,
Thanks for words that make me rap
Thanks for words that make me clap
Thanks for words that make me smile
Thanks for words with grace and style.
Thanks for all those words that sing
Thanks for words are everything
Thanks for all the words like this
And little sloppy words like kiss,
Thanks for words like hip-hooray
And those cool words I like to say
Thanks for words that reach and touch
Thank you very, very much.

Love Poem for My People
Do not let artificial lamps
make strange shadows out of you
Do not dream
if you want your dreams
to come true
You knew how to sing
before you was issued a birth certificate
Turn off the stereo
this country gave you
it is out of order
Your breath is your promised land
If you want to feel very rich
look at your hands
that is where
the definition of magic
is located at

Honor and Praise to the Most High
Who is known by many names and
Worshiped in many ways
The One Source and the One Force
Through which we live, move, and have our being.
Honor to the Ancestors, as well.

"If you stand tall, it is because we stand

Divine inspiration, sacred woman preparing her self in the midst of the storm
Creating Gods and Earths as the world turns strengthening OURstory
Voices strong and deep coming forth from within surrounding this space
In tune with harmony for fertile grounding
Where our seeds can grow in a world of opportunities
Protected and Uplifted by our Most High Men armed in Love and Unity for self and kind working with the rest to build the Bes shield in mind
Africa streaming through our veins leaving no room for doubt, fear, or shame
Divine inspiration, sacred woman preparing her self in the midst of the storm
A time has come for ALL to be come ONE
For nations to gather their minds
For one movement toward a higher spiritual vibration
To allow signals to come through your antennas down through your pin EL gland
To clear your pyramid and let the energy flow through your vocal cords

Keep a Living
Keep a Living
There are many days
There are many nights
Many stars that shine bright
With the world spinning round and round
And moods going up and down
Through the memories of moments of Joy and Pain
Eye listen to wise dome of an Elder going home...
Keep a Living
Let them with an ear hear... Keep a Living
Written in love of a misunderstood man of wisdom and courage... WE SALUTE

Grow wisdom as old as time
Bear fruit with strength in mind

Sometimes I feel like a Motherless Child
Sometimes I feel like a Motherless Child...
Her sweet lips left my face her adoring eyes filled with grace
..Left that place without that blissful state..
I lost my steering wheel so I lost control
She left me an empty vessel without a soul
Without my wheel my colors are gone
A pale cold child
A long way from home
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child...

In My Feelings
You say you love me
What ever that is
It's hard to believe you because I don't know how love feels
All I know is that we go back and forth and if that's what love is then I have to ignore it
You put me through a lot
The emotions won't stop
Tears coming down got my nose filled with snot Scared to let you know how I feel hoping you keep it real
Feelings going up and down and my heart keeps getting killed
It's hard to stop the pain knowing it won't be the same
If you leave out of my life what am I gonna gain
Scared to get any closer because my emotions is like a roller coaster
A roller coaster and you keep riding the hurt
I'm tired of hiding the feelings
They keep shining your love
I'm trying to find it
My eyes are still blinded but why am I still crying
Why?
Because love I still can't find it!

His Story
His story so vivid with details
Details mixed with tall tales
Tall tells that makes ghostsspells
Ghostspells that gives Hell to the understudy
Seemingly presenting a solution to a problem created by their own pollution
His Story
His Story taking from our glory
His Story given after the facts
After the audit of our accounts
They carefully examined our ways of being
Our existence became a mere coin-cidence
And they had no consequences to pay
His Story
His story creates choas, confusing without Maat Filled with parables spoken to infuse you with King James misleading views
Our scholar Hendrix-Clark Fathered,
'History should tell a people who they are, where they came from and what their potential is as a people'
But, His Story tells slave tales mixed with Africans in America's greatness but fails to give you background information

A Child's Heart
I took a piece of living clay,
And idly molded it one day.
And as my fingers pressed it still,
It moved and yielded to my will.
I came again when days were past,
The piece of clay was hard at last.
The shape I gave it still it bore,
And I could change it nevermore.
I took a piece of living clay,
And gently formed it, day by day,
I molded it with power and art---
A young child's soft and yielding heart.
I came again when years were gone,
He was a man I looked upon.
He still that early impress bore,
And I could change him, nevermore.

A Successful Teacher
If you love your students
for who they are,
not for what they do,
If you can offer greater dreams,
even to a few....
If you can touch a single life
and improve it for one day,
If you can bring encouragement
through the words you say....
If you can back up with your life
the truth of what you teach,
And take the time to listen to the
hearts you want to reach....
You'll find your classroom full each day
with eager minds to feed,
And as a teacher and a friend,
you always will succeed.

Translation:
My Dear Loving Grandfather
With your eyes full of joy
My Dear Grandfather is like when the sun shines
Your caressing love is immense like the ocean
My Dear Grandfather brings me good advice
By giving your life in everything good
My Dear Grandfather is the best
The time passes rapidly
More advice you give me
And I desire more
My Grandfather now is very old
But still has the force to give me a hug
My Dear Grandfather and I share a love
Such that we wish each other no harm
For that I say with all the force of my heart
My DEAREST GRANDFATHER

A Moment of Silence
Grandparents are important,
They've stretched it into a mile, when it was an inch,
Grandparents make all of the love on this earth go round,
Moment for grandparents, SILENT,
No Sound

A Grand's Nature
Their love comes from their heart,
And their wrinkles, a work of art,
Their hair so light and thin,
Their blurry vision from their eyes,
But their words so clear and wise,
There is a lesson to be taught,
Who will teach?
The ones who fought, they're the love that helped you survive,
Thank God for every year they're alive.

Elders
Thank you for being here for many years.
Taking care of your children, their children, and their children's children.
Thank you for spending HARD, long hours working, cooking, cleaning.
For encouraging your children and grandchildren to do right and live right.
Old beautiful creations thank you for being here.
Love,

GRANDparents
Grandparents are always there to pick you up when you are down,
To give you life lessons when you smile and when you frown,
To give you warm hugs and plenty love,
They're always sweet and delicate like white pretty doves,
They're people you look up to everyday of the week,
They will always love you to the highest peak.
