Oath to OUR Ancestors

O ancestors!
Blacker than a thousand midnights.
Afrikan Ancestors!
It is YOU that we, your children , give respect and honor.
O Ancestors!
We call upon You and welcome you in this place.
Afrikan Ancestors!
Let your presence fill this place.
O Ancestors!
Who have been purposely excluded from the history books, so that the world would not know of your greatness.
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave civilization to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave the arts to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave music to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave the sciences to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave mathematics to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave medicine to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave literature to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave philosophy to the world...
Our Afrikan Ancestors! Who gave God consciousness to the world...
O Ancestors!
We thank you for devoting your life to make a future for us, your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Now stand with us, strengthen us, guide us, teach us, and protect us from the snare of our enemies!
Rise up, O Afrikan Ancestors, and let our enemies be scattered
And give us the wisdom and the boldness to deal with our oppressors and those who would hinder the liberation and empowerment of our people.
Rise up, O Afrikan Ancestors, and live in us.
We will not fail to honor you!
We will not fail to respect you!
We will not fail to hear you!
And we will Not betray you! Ase'

His Story

His Story

His story so vivid with details
Details mixed with tall tales
Tall tells that makes ghostsspells
Ghostspells that gives Hell to the understudy
Seemingly presenting a solution to a problem created by their own pollution

His Story

His Story taking from our glory
His Story given after the facts
After the audit of our accounts
They carefully examined our ways of being
Our existence became a mere coin-cidence
And they had no consequences to pay

His Story

His story creates choas, confusing without Maat Filled with parables spoken to infuse you with King James misleading views
Our scholar Hendrix-Clark Fathered,
'History should tell a people who they are, where they came from and what their potential is as a people'
But, His Story tells slave tales mixed with Africans in America's greatness but fails to give you background information

His Story

SANKOFA

Attention
Attention
Attention Every ONE

Egypt reject,
Pyramid project,
Projecting your false reflection

Roughly shaped, tri and angle, your purpose for being
See the converging of a single point to the top of this sandy situation
1 building, 2 buildings, 3 buildings, 4...
The police are coming... knocking at this door
Every minute not for me but for Johnny down the street or Missy around the corner.
Checking to see if I'd seen them this morning...
Well, mourning it is, for I cry with every knock for our Herus to fly...
From the cracks of their arms,
From the crack that breaks their mother's back,
their children's smile and their dignity for the while

Egypt reject,
Pyramid project,
Projecting your false reflection

You are a sleeping God
Do you remember?
Stand tall in the mist of it ALL
Climb high to the all seeing eye
Look through the soul of the forever Moor
Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Just us
Look to the ancient soul of us coming forth by day and setting legendary examples by night

Egypt reject,
Pyramid project,
Projecting your false reflection

Stolen Legacy rebuild we
Sankofa reclaim we
Into a natural being fit for a Queen, a King, a God, and a Goddess that reigns
Temple of Dendera send signs that keep us going around
In circles...
Circles of greatness from Bes to Aset from Ausar to Imhotep
Study to show thyself approved
Rightly dividing the word of God
Seeking truth beyond you
Where we coming from is bigger than I and bigger than you
Muhammadan's, Christian's, and Buddha's, too.
Our walk of life include these rites
We are the anointed that we shout about
We are the Zen that we seek balance in
We are the ones of peace but willing to protect our being by any means... necessary
For that does not mean we are violent but sick and tired of being sick and tired
We know our worth is greater than the certificate we put our birth on
Greater than the stock you have in it
And greater than the situations we fallIN

Egypt reject
Pyramid project
Projecting your false reflection

Community Visions written like hieroglyphics
Engraved in the temples of us all
Foundations concrete
Productivity from the minds to the streets to bodies filled with heat
Burning with the desire to rise higher
Education, Food, Clothing and Shelter is the Commerce we need
Knowledge of Self creates Spiritual, Physical, and Mental seeds to plant a garden of original beings

Egypt resurrected
Pyramid connected
We are now truly Reflecting

A Child's Heart

I took a piece of living clay,
And idly molded it one day.
And as my fingers pressed it still,
It moved and yielded to my will.
I came again when days were past,
The piece of clay was hard at last.
The shape I gave it still it bore,
And I could change it nevermore.

I took a piece of living clay,
And gently formed it, day by day,
I molded it with power and art---
A young child's soft and yielding heart.
I came again when years were gone,
He was a man I looked upon.
He still that early impress bore,
And I could change him, nevermore.
