when a boy sets out to do the job
fit for a man
When women are forced to participate
in the nature of reproduction
without the love and support of the other
When a woman must explain the mystery
of a boy who couldn't handle his calling
So demanding of his will and attention
Should one be disappointed to deal with the struggles of creation by herself
It's not fair to wake up at the dusk of dawn
to bathe, clothe, and feed a precious mouth all alone
To want more but unable to supply with a demand so high
